Jen Maloney and team Kennedy have figured out how to save their clicker lessons to their server so others can download them and use them. This is a fantastic way to share your collective genius! We’ll talk about this more on the 18th but I’ll share Jen’s email so you can find out more from her if you like.

Here are the steps to follow when you need to change the channel on your clicker.
Press both arrows at the same time.
Press the +- key (plus, minus key)
Message will say, “Channel”. Enter the channel number that is on the receiver
Press ’send’
Message will say, “Address”. Enter the number of the clicker (on the end of the clicker)
Press ’send’
Press ’send’ again
Message will say, “Powering down”
Clicker will turn off and will be reset.
One tip I learned: I tried using images in my “clicker” activity, but the images did not appear on the screen. A message appeared stating that CPS could not find the image. I’d saved all of them in a separate folder but soon learned that I had to save the images in the same folder as your CPS database. They cannot be in a separate folder.
This is a place to share what’s working, shortcuts you’ve found, great ways to integrate technology, classroom management tips etc. and help each other to be more successful.
