4J TILT Project 07/08                             Contract
As a member of the TILT Project 07/08, you will be provided with the following:

•    high quality, intensive, sustained professional development
•    release time to attend workshops, observe other classrooms, and meet with the Project Coordinator
•    a laptop, projector, speakers, document camera (for each member of the school team)
•    one class set of Classroom Performance Systems (”clickers̶ ;) (for your school team to share)

This equipment, while issued to the individual teacher for use during the TILT Project, is ultimately the property of the Eugene 4J school district and must remain at the assigned school should the staff member leave during the Project. Once the 4JTILT Project has ended, the equipment inventory will be transferred from the Education Center to the participating school.

Participants will be expected to:

•    Attend and participate in the TWO-DAY Fall 4JTILT Institute September 24-25 8:00-4:00 pm
•    Attend and participate in all Half-Day professional development workshops:

October 18 am              8:00-12:00
November 13 pm         12:00- 4:00
December 6 am             8:00-12:00
February 12 am             8:00-12:00
March 13 pm               12:00- 4:00
April 17 am                   8:00-12:00

•    Attend and participate in the Full-Day Final Wrap Up May 15   8:00-4:00
•    Develop a school plan to incorporate increased technology in your building
•    Share examples of technology and/or student products with school staff during
o     staff meetings
o     team meetings
o     one-to-one meetings
•    Create, implement and share 4 TILT Lesson Plans which are aligned with Oregon State Instructional Technology Common Curriculum Goals, Oregon State standards in English/Language Arts, and the National Educational Technology Standards (NETS)
•    Read and post responses on the 4JTILT Project blog
•    Keep a log of activities, lessons, research, experiences, frustrations, lessons learned, contacts etc. to share with other participants
