About Mr. Pfanner

ATA Teacher Bio

Prior to becoming a teacher Mr. Pfanner worked as a strength and fitness trainer for 7 years.  Thomas is still recognized by the Nation Strength and Conditioning Association as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS).   He also has experience coaching varsity football and wrestling.

Thomas graduated from Western Oregon University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science in 2012 and graduated from Pacific University with a Master’s of Arts in Teaching in 2016.  Mr. Pfanner began working at ATA in the Fall of 2016.  His favorite part of being a teaching is making a positive impact on the health and futures of young men and women.  

He loves to be active! He enjoys weight lifting, wrestling, sailing, flag football, ultimate frisbee and archery. He lives with his wife Megan, eleven year old son Charles and dog Jake.
