Oops!! I must have overdone my snow dance!!

Full disclaimer!!  I LOVE the snow!  Growing up in southeast Alaska forever equates snow with FUN!! Hiking in snow, hunting in snow (okay, my Mom and Dad did the actual hunting, but I was waiting for them back in the snow camp!!), snowshoeing, making snow angels, snowmen, snow forts, snow ice cream … well, you get the idea.

So seeing all this white stuff (we had about 16 inches in our neighborhood and we still have about 12 inches of snow on the ground and in the street) makes me super happy. And then I hear about the power outages. And I think of how most Eugenians DON’T have back up heating sources, and I am suddenly not super happy.

I wish everyone warmth and hot food and electricity and hope today is a good day.

Take Care Everyone!

It’s NOT over until it’s over!

Right?  Play through until the buzzer, run through the tape, hold the note until the conductor drops his/her arms, etc.,etc.  AND … keep working hard in school until the VERY LAST DAY of the term!!  Which is, (para que sepas), Wednesday, March 13th!!

Yup.  13 days until your final grade in Spanish Winter Term is set in stone!  Be sure to remember that your lowest quiz will be dropped at the end of the term.  So, take a deep breath, roll up your sleeves, and work hard and finish strong!

¡Sí se puede!
