Taking a break

Hello CHS Students and Parents,

I wanted to let you know, as I have let my students know in class, that I will be taking the week after Spring Break off.  Guest teachers will be teaching my Spanish lessons during that week (they are both retired Spanish teachers), so your student will not get behind.  As you may or may not be aware, my husband’s parents both passed away within 3 weeks of each other in late January and February.  We are traveling to the memorial service and taking a little time to regroup.  I will be back in the classroom on April 6th.  In order to help your student be their best, during that week of the 6th through the 10th, I will be available during lunches as well as after school for help, questions, etc.  Thank you for your (continued) support as I go through this.

Life is short.  It’s also wonderful.  Such is the dichotomy in which we exist.  To that end, how about if you, my students, try to exist to the best of your abilities and try to operate, day by day, at your best?  This site will give you some tools to make your life in Spanish 1b MUCHO MEJOR!  Use it, and keep track of YOUR education and progress!!

Here’s to a great SPRING TERM, LANCERS!!
