Homework

Due Friday Jan 11: On the sheet provided, WITHOUT using a map or other help, write out all the capital cities we have covered so far.

Due Monday Jan 14: One full 5 sentence paragraph on either of the following topics: A) How well do you think your comic book group will do on this project, and why?  or B) What have you found out so far about your individual project?

Those interested in extra credit can do both paragraphs…

Due Thursday

We have been working a lot on some writing projects, and they are starting to wrap up. Thursday I will ask you to turn in your final copies of your planet writing, and also your completed ‘personal revolution’ paragraph so that we can start working on our Google Earth projects!

Make up Work

For students who neglected to do their homework last week, I am offering a one time make-up package, due Thursday as discussed in class!

Part 1: One long paragraph (8 or so sentences, including intro and concl.) summarizing what you know so far about the constitution

Part 2: EITHER a 1/2 page (or longer) creative halloween story

OR a 1/2 page (or longer) write up of what holiday/season you like the most, and why.

Planet Project

Due Monday:

The second draft of our creative writing is due Monday. This needs to be at least one full page (with at least 8 words per line - if your handwriting is bigger, make it a page and a half!) and I will be checking it for errors and grammar before our final copies!

Our Homework is one full paragraph (5 sentences or more) on the following topic: “If you were going to write about a historical time or event, would you choose fiction or nonfiction? Why?”
