I want to personally welcome all students and parents to the 2010-2011 school year here at ATA. I am very, very excited about this school year!  Don’t get me wrong, I love summer and was able to go see some beautiful ecosystems here in Oregon: the coast, the forests, the dunes, and some rivers.

I am teaching three 6th grade science classes (two ATA and one Family School) and one 7th grade Family School Science.  I am sad I won’t have any 8th graders for science this year, but they are always welcome to stop by and say HI! I will be teaching an elective called YOUTH IN ACTION though and it is a 7th/8th grade elective. You better sign up fast because those slots are filling up.

This blog is updated WEEKLY and will have information about what is happening in class, and upcoming events, such as field trips.
