Students will be evaluated on a 0-5 scale as follows:
5 Exceeds standard. Surpasses standards for quality and accuracy
4 Meets standard. Complete, very high level of quality with at least 80% accuracy
3 Approaches standard. Mostly complete, moderate level of quality, 70% accuracy
2 Emerging skill. Working on quality and accuracy. Needs practice
0 No evidence. Not turned in or no evidence of effort
This grading system translates well to the more traditional A’s, B’s, and C’s and gives parents, students, and me a better shapshot of strengths and weaknesses.
