Late work is accepted only with a brief signed parent/guardian note; you do not need to detail your explanation. Work missed from an absence can be made up and due dates for makeup work will be negotiated between your student and me.
Please make sure you activate your account on Synergy so you can follow your student’s progress and receive occasional mass email updates from me.
How to get information:
The best way to contact me with questions about your student is via email. That way, I can access scores and spend time on a thoughtful and detailed response.
If your student has questions about homework, please ask him/her to call me at home before 8:00 pm after contacting the peers they have chosen as helpers. Homework questions probably shouldn’t be sent via email, because I may not check email after I go home. See contact information below.
The blog is a great source of information, particularly the “Daily Planner and Assignments” part. It tells you what is due and when.
