Monroe Middle School Announcements

The Safe Routes To School Fall Campaign has STARTED! Did you walk, bike, or skateboard to school yesterday? Did you get a yellow campaign ticket? Remember your can receive a ticket for walking or biking to school, and another ticket for your walk/bike home. Tickets can be picked up from Mrs. Betournay or a volunteer parent walking in front of the school holding an orange flag. Tickets are also available from Jody in the bike cage or Marta and Reba in the main office.
The first drawing will be Friday September 26!

It is Popcorn day Friday!!! Don’t forget to bring your M&Ms to lunch! You can purchase a sack of Popcorn during lunch for just 5 M&Ms.

Attention all dancers, or anyone interested in learning to dance. Sheldon dance team is holding a dance clinic on Saturday, September 13th in the Sheldon High School Cafeteria for only twenty-two dollars. Both males and females are welcome! Along with the clincic, you will be given the opportunity to perform on Friday, September 19th during the half-time of a home Sheldon football game! For more information please come to the office and pick up a flyer.

Vim Vigor Victual (Vittle) students from last year that participated in the health fair listen up! All eighth grade students will participate in this years’ health fair in June. If you wish to keep the same topic this year that you had last year you must tell Ms. Kerr-Daly as soon as possible. If you wish to research a different topic you do not need to do anything at this time, thank you.

The kitchen is looking for lunch helpers. If you would like to be a lunch helper please talk to Carolyn in the kitchen. Also, students please remember your number for lunch. If you need to put money on your lunch account please bring your money in the morning.
