Yearbook needs a group picture of the Runescape club members. All Runescape Club members please meet in Nelson’s room A6 today after school for a couple minutes to take pictures.
Yearbook staff, there is a mandatory all staff proofing meeting next Tuesday. If you are not attending see Ms. Nelson ASAP to make arrangements to proof earlier.
Hey Monroe, if you didn’t make it to the play last weekend you still have a chance to see this crazy comedy before it closes. This Friday at 7 PM and this Saturday at 2 PM. Bring the whole family. Students $2, adults $5. See you there.
Today is the day! Get all your M&M’s and bring them to lunch to get a new book! Many new titles available: Uglies, Specials, Twilight, Maximum Ride and many other popular books. Don’t forget! See you there!

7th graders if you want to be considered for next year’s WEB crew you only have a few days left to get those applications in. They are Due by 3:30 on Friday March 14th. We don’t want you to miss out on this opportunity because you weren’t on top of your paperwork! So come to the office to pick up your application

Today’s renascape club will meet in the computer lab after school. Again we apologize for last weeks inconvenience. Hope to see you all there!
One more week until track practice starts! We’re still waiting for you guys to turn in your track forms, hope to see you al come out for track!
Did you miss this weekends great performance of Romeo and Juliet – Together (and Alive!) at Last!? Well have no fear, there will be another show this weekend. Come out and support your fellow classmates.
Are you guys ready to hear the winner of the Mr. Irish competition between Cal Young and Monroe… Well here it is…. CONGRATULATIONS MONROE you have won. Your plaque will be delivered the week after spring break. Aswell as the winners of the blizzards will be announced on Wednesday. Great job everyone for helping us out in helping raise money for all the Children who will be forced to be apart of the NICU this year. Thanks to your help and the money you have raised for Children’s Miracle Network, you have helped save lives.

Today’s yearbook meeting is cancelled
Do you hate standing in line. Well get your tickets early for Romeo and Juliet – Together (and Alive!) at Last. Student tickets are $2 (which includes high school students). Adult tickets are $5. Same price at the door, but you have to stand in line if you wait.
The first performance will be this Friday at 7 PM, NOT Thursday. There will be an afternoon matinee at 2 PM on this Saturday. Same days and times next week.
ELEVEN DAYS UNTIL TRACK STARTS! Make sure to turn in your forms, or find Ms. Betournay with any questions.

Want to know how to save energy and still have fun at the same time? Well, instead of driving to where you want to go, get a group of friends together and bike to where you want to go! You will have fun by visiting with your friends and at the same time you will be reducing the carbon dioxide pollution from driving.

Hello Track Athletes! Practice starts on Monday March 17th. Yikes…… that is in two weeks. Be sure to get your physical appointment scheduled and paper work in. If you have questions, check in with either Reba in the front office or Mrs. Betournay. Many athletes have some of the forms in and need to compleat the missing ones. Also, remember, sports physical are offered at the Sheldon clinic too.
Good job and thank you all for helping us out with our fundraising for Children’s Miracle Network. Thanks to your help we were able to raise $360.25 just from Monroe Middle School. We will announce the winner of the Cal Young and Monroe battle on Monday, along with the winners of the blizzards. Thanks to all of you from the Mr. Irish crew, your awesome!

Attention all Cast and Crew of Romeo and Juliet:
Rehearsals this week go until 5:45. Please make sure you have made arrangements to stay for the entire time. Crew needs to be there each afternoon, Monday through Thursday. Cast A rehearsals are Monday and Wednesday. Cast 1 rehearsal is Tuesday. Both casts will rehearse on Thursday; cast 1 after the teaser, cast A beginning at 4:00.
Attention all artists! If you want your art to be in the yearbook, well it can! All you have to do is hand your work of art to Mrs. Nelson. Please turn them in by this Thursday, March 6th and remember, no color and no lined paper.
Today is the last day that the Mr. Irish crew will be taking your donations for the contest between you and Cal Young. Make sure to donate today during lunch. Remember every little foot you buy is going towards helping a little child. There is also a contest that has started with the foot, for every foot you buy you have a better chance of getting your name drawn for your chance to receive a treat from DQ brought to you during lunch next week! So buy those feet and get them turned in with your name on them to get your treat!
