The school play is about to begin. Mr. Bowden has chosen a middle school comedy for this year’s production, Romeo and Juliet…Together (and Alive!) at Last. There will be an informational meeting after school on Thursday, Nov. 29, from 3:10 to 3:45 in Mr. Bowden’s room. Students will sign up for an audition at that time. Crew, if you would like to work behind the scenes, come to the informational meeting on Nov. 29 from 3:15 to 3:45. See everyone there.

This week the M&M prize is a 32 MB Flash Drive. If you neeed more memory and who doesn’t, get your M&M’s turned in at the office! Names will be drawn Thursday after school.

Your first period class will be responsible for collecting non-perishable food items, like canned goods, as well as personal care items, like toothpaste and shampoo. A STAR Staff representative will present more information in your first period class this week.

Congratulations to Brianna Powers, whose art work “Silent Tree” was selected from over 250 entries to be displayed at the Jordan Schnitzer Museum of Art K-12 student art show! Way go to Brianna!

School Play Auditions
The school play is about to begin. Mr. Bowden has chosen a middle school comedy for this year’s production, Romeo and Juliet…Together (and Alive!) at Last. Actors, scripts will be available to borrow beginning next Monday afternoon. Come sign one out from Mr. Bowden. There will be an informational meeting after school on Thursday, Nov. 29, from 3:10 to 3:45 in Mr. Bowden’s room. Students will sign up for an audition at that time. Auditions will take place on the school stage (band room) on December 4th and 5th after school. Crew, if you would like to work behind the scenes, come to the informational meeting on Nov. 29 from 3:15 to 3:45. See everyone there.

The Holiday Wish Tree is on Reba’s door. For anyone wanting to buy a gift for a teacher, come in and pick an ornament, buy the gift and return it to the office by December 19th.
