Monroe Middle School Announcements

Runescape Club Meeting today in E5 the computer lab from 3:15-4:15. Anybody who wants to come is more than welcome. Remember no food or drink or gum in the computer lab. Hope to see you there!

Students with portrait picture retakes need to see Ms. Nelson ASAP to choose the picture they want in the yearbook. See Ms. Nelson today at lunch in room A-6 or after school in room E-5 (the computer lab). If you don’t come choose, the yearbook staff will choose for you.

Thank you to all who remembered to represent their favorite teams colors. Don’t forget to watch the game tomorrow and root on your orange and green!

Your first period class will be responsible for collecting non-perishable food items, like canned goods, as well as personal care items, like toothpaste and shampoo. A STAR Staff representative will present more information in your first period class this week.

Congratulations to Brianna Powers, whose art work “Silent Tree” was selected from over 250 entries to be displayed at the Jordan Schnitzer Museum of Art K-12 student art show! Way go to Brianna!

The gyms will be closed on Friday morning during resource, in order to give OMSI enough time to get ready for the assemblies. Breakfast will be served on Friday morning but students will have to eat in the courtyard, please dress accordingly. Thank you for your patience with all the changes.

Tonight is Monroe night at Coldstone Creamery. Monroe will receive a portion of all sales between the hours of 5:00 and 9:00 p.m. So grab your family, go out for a treat and support our school.
