Monroe Middle School Announcements

Hey runners and joggers ages 10-18… The Eugene Challenge Cross Country Race will be happening this Friday, October 5th at Alton Baker Park. The race is a little over one mile and awards will be given out according to age. There will also be Cold Stone Ice Cream to all finishers and a raffle drawing for great prizes. See Ms. Kerr-Daly or go to Eugene Running Company for entries or if you have questions.

Yearbook is looking for some artists to design this year’s yearbook cover. The cover needs to be a black ink drawing, no color, on white no-lined paper. This year’s theme is “A picture is worth 2008 words.” See Ms. Nelson for details. Drawings must be submitted no later than October 19th after school. Yearbook is also accepting other artwork to be in the yearbook, no lined paper please. Show us your talent!

Have you ever been interested in cheerleading? Emerald Allstar Cheerleading is forming teams to cheer at the kidsports basketball games. No experience is necessary. If you are interested pick up the flier in the front office.
