Did you know October is Cancer Awareness Month? You can help by donating pink lids from Yoplait yogurt. “Lids for Life” is a fund that provides money for cancer research. For every lid, 5 cents is donated to help find a cure. Lids may be turned into the front office. Thanks for your help.

Interested in going to Spain? There will be a informational meeting Thursday, October 11th, at 7:00pm. Ask Sra. Jones for more information.

Do you like to eat at Taco Time? Get those M&M’s into the office for a free lunch or dinner. Three names will be drawn from each grade.

Hey runners and joggers ages 10-18… The Eugene Challenge Cross Country Race will be happening Friday, October 5th at Alton Baker Park. The event is FREE but you must preregister. The first 70 kids to sign up will get a Pre T-shirt. The race is a little over one mile and awards will be given out according to age. There will also be Cold Stone Ice Cream to all finishers and a raffle drawing for great prizes.

Have you ever been interested in cheerleading? Emerald Allstar Cheerleading is forming teams to cheer at the kidsports basketball games. No experience is necessary. If you are interested pick up the flier in the front office.
