Monroe Middle School Announcements

We will have a short MANDATORY WEB meeting on Tuesday, Oct. 2. Make plans to attend EITHER one of these sessions:
in the morning from 8:20 to 8:40 a.m. OR after school from 3:10 to 3:30 p.m. in C-5 (the art room). (If you have a schedule conflict, please see Mrs. Kronser or Ms. Barcroft- Hundt right away.)

For those students who are serious about going on the Italy trip, you can pick up your application from Mrs. Kronser in the art room. All applications are due on Oct. 15 with a down payment. Talk with Mrs. Kronser on Ms., Barcroft-Hundt for more details. Thanks

Remember Monroe Wednesday Oct. 3rd is International Walk/Bike to school day. Thousands of students from all over the world will be celebrating. One trek starts at the corner of Cal Young and OakwaryRoads, or continue on your normal route to school. Juice and granola bars will be served to all students making this annual trek to school with your teachers. Meet in the church parking lot at 8:00 AM. There are plenty of cool prizes, so get those flyers into your 6th period teacher. A drawing will be held and the winners will recieve a FREE lunch time smoothie.

Do you like to eat at Taco Time? Get those M&M’s into the office for a free lunch or dinner at the local Taco Time! 3 names will be drawn from each grade on Wednesday afternoon and announced Tursday morning.

This Friday let’s run on the trails … also known as the 2 K trail race at Alton Baker Park. You are all invited and its FREE!! All you have to do is register before Thursday and you can do that with
Ms. Kerr-Daly or go to the Eugene Running company at Oakway mall. You do not have to be a serious runner to have a good time- see you Friday!
