You have just finished reading about some early hominid discoveries.  On this page, I want you to “comment” about what you have learned.  What did you find interesting?  What do you think of the two nicknames given to these discoveries:  Ardi and The Hobbit?  Would you rename them?  Why?  What are some of their capabilities?  And, finally, why are these discoveries important???

We are on our way to a great year…. Grades are posted online, we are starting our first writing assignment, and we have started reading in our literature book! Wow!  Next week, we will start learning about ancient civilizations.  What a great year it will be:)
