Good Morning!  It’s Wednesday!!!  Please remember that there is no school on Friday, so your homework is due TOMORROW.  We have had such a great week, working on so many skills.  We have our SPICE girls back and ready to go another fun activity with you today.

We have 5 more days to earn 9 tail feathers for our Hungry Hungry Hippo activity.  Let’s do our best and show how awesome we can do with our quick and quiet transitions.

Just a reminder that there is Young Rembrandt art classes after school today.  You will meet in the office after school to meet your teacher and find out where you will be going this term.

Good Morning!  It’s Tuesday.  I’m glad we are all here ON TIME today.  Right?!

We don’t have library today due to the book fair happening this week.  You can still turn your books in on time, so you will be able to check out next Tuesday.  Please be in your seat by the time the bell rings.

I have a special treat from my parents all the way from Arizona for kids who walk quietly in the hallways today!  We only have 9 more tail feathers to go!  We can do it!!

Good Morning!  I’m glad you all made it here on time today.  I’m sorry we all lost our one hour of sleep Sunday night.  But, we can do it!!

Please make sure to turn in your Friday Folder to me.  If you have your library books, please turn those in as well.

It’s Friday!  Has this week seemed really long, or has it just been me??  Ok, here’s what we’ve got today.

First off, please turn in your homework packets.  Don’t forget to double check for your name.

Ms. Melton won’t be here with us today teaching, but she is going to pop in to get a quick class picture.  Next week is her last week, so she is wrapping up all the things she needs to do to move on to her next placement.  Then, Ms. Farwell will be back!

We not only have music today, but we have our Book Fair Preview.  From 9:40-10:05, we can go to the library and look at the book fair and make a list of books we might want to purchase next week.  Please make sure to thank all the VOLUNTEERS for their hard work.  They do this so we can earn money to purchase new books for the library.

Mr. Saphier was so impressed with how well the class was yesterday, especially Emmy.  He loves our school and said, “It just always feel good being here.”  Thank you for making his visit welcoming and for doing such a nice job with Avery’s Star Attraction.  That was great!

Good Morning.  It’s Thursday!  We have one more day to work on homework, so you better be reading… We have PE today too.  March birthday lunches are tomorrow with Mr. Chinn.

Yesterday was a better day with transitions and getting work done.  I am so proud of kids who still had a lot to do with their packets, for powering through and getting it done.  I hope you felt some pride in finishing and not just turning something in half done.

We have some visitors today.  Blaine will be in to observe Ms. Melton during our writing craftivity.  And Mr. Saphier will be in to observe me during math.  Because I want him to see how awesome you all are with fractions, I am asking 3rd dose reading kids to continue to work on fractions during reading time.  It will be fun I promise.

Today, Ms. Melton will be taking you to library.  I will be going to Mrs. Zimmerman’s room to teach a science lesson.  Don’t worry!  You will get the same lesson later.  Let’s have a great day today and try to be much more quiet with transitions than yesterday.
