Poems of many types to adore

The Truth Beneath
Light-hearted Healthy, free, the world before me,
I ask not good-fortune
Postpone no more, need nothing,
Done with complaints, I travel the open road
The earth is sufficient
Still I carry my old burdens, wherever I go
Impossible to rid of them,
Your road I enter upon and look around, I believe you are not all that is here
Here the profound, preference, denial
The felon, the diseas’d, the illiterate, the beggar, the drunkard, the laughing party mechanics
The escaped youth; lost to time
Envelop All
Bike around, drive around, walk around
Talk around and experience the town
Come around go around, nowhere are you bound
Explore and adore, the amazing outdoors
Find something new and let it envelop you
Make the most of the day, as if it were made for you
Sun, rain and snow
They make the mind flow
For nothing can truly stop you
Just keep thinking anew
A loud day, envelop the sound
A clear sky, don’t look down
A small room, don’t feel confined
Your mind still flows
The world is not for your
Your creativity and imagination is what truly makes you, you
The Days of Dismay
A nice sunny day
Warm air and all shout, “hooray!”
For there are no more days to dismay
No more crappy, only happy
What a day, what a day!
But it won’t last forever
So enjoy the days, as they start to slip away
The time is near, the time to fear
The dismay of days!
It’s back! It’s here!
You’ll fight with all your might
But the happy days shall not adhere
It now engulfs you, the dismay of days
The horrible pays, the worst of worst days
A new life we need
For a new life we plea
Tanka/Haiku
Choo! Choo! I’m a train!
Steam and coal I can contain
Passengers aboard
I pumped to their accord
Now I’m bored, sitting, waiting
Blue red and yellow
All these colors are fellows
Rainbows I adore
A tanka I am
5! 7! 5! 2 7s!
Words don’t need to rhyme
This may be a 7 line
7 syllables right here
Haiku, make me snore
Bubble of snot, it might pop!
Oh, how do I bore
