If you have a Mac laptop that doesn’t want to wake up or restart
If you have a Mac laptop that doesn’t want to wake up or restart,
1. Try this first:
a. Plug in the power cord.
b. Check that there is a light on the power cord. Orange means charging. Green means fully charged.
c. Push the power button then let go.
i. It should wake up.
d. When the computer wakes up, click on the blue apple in the upper left corner and restart the computer.
2. If that doesn’t work:
a. Push and hold down these three keys: Command (apple)/Control(ctrl)/Power button.
b. Let go after a few seconds. Most of the time, this works immediately. Other times you may need to try it 2 or 3 times.
c. When the computer wakes up, click on the blue apple in the upper left corner and restart the computer.
3. If it still doesn’t wake up:
a. Bring it to me to check the battery.
