Seniors, the Hiring Fair for April 30th is canceled
but there will be online opportunities to speak to employment professionals in May and June. Dates and information are still being determined. In the meantime, I suggest you scroll down and update or create your resume using the information and resources below. And if you are currently looking for work, please scroll down further and view current job openings and a list of employers that have hired our Churchill students.
Tips! Make sure your resume is accurate and has proper spelling and punctuation. Once you drop your resume or application off with an employer remember to check back 1-2 days later with the hiring manager and let them know that you are really interested in working for the company.
Where/How to create a resume
- From your Naviance account go to “About Me” and choose “My Stuff” and then click on Resume. Follow the resume building directions carefully.
- Use Google Docs. Click on “New” in your Google Drive and scroll to “Google Docs” and click on the arrow at right and click on “From a Template” that should give you a list of templates to scroll through and find resume — there are several versions to choose from. Highlight and type over the different sections to add your personal information and experiences.
