  4. Examines and diagnoses operational problems, and repairs according to accepted methods, establishes / conducts preventative maintenance practices.
  5. Individual must have core understanding of conveyor belts, shaker screens, sand screws, and cyclone operations.
  6. Candidate will need to be flexible to work in other areas of the plant, must be flexible on hours worked, and be willing to work OT when requested.
  7. Must comply with company safety rules and regulations and wear proper safety equipment while on plant grounds.
    1. Safety equipment means clothing and apparatus including, but not limited to hardhat, safety glasses, ear protection, safety shoes, back support belts, gloves and respirators.
    2. Candidate will require a firm understanding of MSHA / OSHA rules and guidelines regarding guarding, Personal Protection Equipment and Statutory Rights as a Miner.

Will Train! Must provide a valid Driver’s License! Must comply with all Plant Safety and OSHA/MSHA protocols. Available for work Monday – Friday 7:00-3:30p.m. Rate of Pay: 15.00  per hour

Forest Paint has a paid summer internship opportunity for a high school student to work in their retail store. The individual would get an opportunity to work closely with the Equipment Technician and learn how to repair paint equipment (small motor engines) during the first half of the day and then move on to learn about tinting paint and the inner workings of a retail store based on a consultative sales approach.

This will be a part-time position, running from the end of the school year to the start of the school year. They are flexible on scheduling, so they can easily work with the right student to get a schedule that fits their needs. Eventually they will have a permanent position for the Equipment Technician as their current employee will likely retire in the future.

This could be a great opportunity for a student who wants to get their foot in the door now with Forrest. They have promoted out of the store many times throughout the years, including one of their top Technical Industrial Sales rep who started in the store at the age of 18.
