About Ms. Corliss
My name is Jessy Corliss and I am very excited to be teaching 1st grade again this year at Howard. I was born and raised in the Eugene/Springfield area. I attended Northwest Christian University for both my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees. I completed my student teaching at Howard a few years ago in both first and fifth grade. Over the past few years, I have worked as a first grade teacher, a fifth grade teacher, kindergarten teacher and a guest teacher. I am looking forward to a fantastic year of learning and growing. I believe in creating a learning environment that is safe, kind and welcoming. I cannot wait to get to know my students and begin the school year.

I have one niece and four nephews who mean the world to me. We were having fun at the Oregon Coast.
