Portland, Oregon has the best weather to just relax & enjoy the outdoors. The rain has such a significant meaning to Portland. It makes such a beautiful sound against a roof of a building. You can wear a couple of layers of warm clothing without getting too hot. In the summer, the sun is shining through the big, woodsy trees. It’s finally warm enough to wear shorts & a t-shirt. 

                 In Portland there is many places to see from the Oregon Zoo to Oaks amusement Park.

          Portland begin with Meriwether Lewis and William Clark exploring the area in 1805, these records overlook the rich oral accounts of the Native Americans who inhabited the Pacific Northwest long before white settlers arrived. Home to the Chinook tribe, who sustained themselves by fishing, foraging and trading, many Portland area landmarks — like the Willamette River and Multnomah Falls — were named by these original inhabitants.
