Why? The Million Dollar Goal takes place in Montreal, Canada in present time. Dusk, Dawn, Oma, Dad, And Mom are the main characters in this story. Dusk and Dawn are crazy about hockey. Oma is their grandma who loves to enter contests. Dad is dad and Mom is mom. Dusk and Dawn are going to a Montreal Candiens game. They will pick one lucky person to shoot the shot of a lifetime for a million dollars.

Who would like this book? People who like action, fantasy, and adventure would love this book and all the other Percy Jackson and the Olympians books.
Why? The Lightning Thief takes place in modern day United States like New York and California. This story is about a boy named Percy Jackson who is a halfblood (half mortal half god). Percy is the son of Poseidon, the Greek god of the sea. And the god Zeus thinks Percy stole his master bolt, a very powerful weapon of Zeus’s with god level explosives on each end. So now Percy and his friends Grover and Annabeth must go through monsters and gods to get it back.

Who would like this book? If you like baseball and Babe Ruth this is a great book for you. This book can be read from the ages of 8 and older or grades 3 and above.
Why? Babe and Me takes place in Louisville, Kentucky. It about a kid named Joe Stoshack who has the power to time travel with old baseball cards. He takes his dad to Babe Ruth’s time to see if he really called his shot. Meanwhile his dad wants to get autographs from Babe and sell them in his time and also bet on games trying to get money.

Who would like this book? People who like adventure and excitment. I would reccomend this book to people 12 and older.
Why? Because the excitement and intensity of the kids Joey and Mary Alice with their crazy Grandma Dowdel. They get into some crazy problems and meet lots of new people. Enemies and allies. This Story (or stories) are from year to year as the kids grow up every summer.

Who would like this book? You would like this book if you are a older teen and like basketball.
Why? It is a fun, exciting book. It is about a boy named Slam who is really good at basketball. The only problem is that his grades aren’t so good and the only way he can be on the team is if his grades are good. Will Slam still be on the team?
