I’m a former Howard student and teacher and am now the principal. As s student, I attended Howard, Kelly and North, graduating in 1989. I went on to attend the University of Oregon, were I received a Bachelor of Science in Political Science with a minor in English. I received my Mater of Arts in Teaching at Pacific University and went on to get my first teaching job at Howard as the Technology Coordinator/Specialist. I was later a classroom teacher at Howard, teaching a 2/3 blend, and was eventually Howard’s Title 1 Coordinator before moving into administration. I was a Wallace Grant Administrator at Awbrey Park and Meadowlark/Buena Vista, then Assistant Principal at Cal Young Middle School for three years, and most recently was Principal at Corridor Alternative and Yujin Gakuen Elementary Schools for five years before coming to Howard. Howard is a place I deeply care about and I will strive to make the best school possible!
